I have a tendency to use those colors more than any. The warmth is what draws me. The blog group choices from ArtBeads this month was Swarovski crystals. Holy cow was that a tough chore! There are so many choices. At first I just started down the list picking anything that appealed to me, then went back in and started weeding them out.
Yesterdays post gave you the run down of my choices.
Last nite, I was in a fever working on this. I couldn't wait to get it done. It didn't come out exactly the way I wanted it to, but at the same time, I am happy with the outcome.
Along with the Swarovski crystals from ArtBeads, I also used -
2207 Cable Chain
1 1/2-inch Head Pin, 22 Gauge (Sterling Silver)
10 x 4mm Lobster Clasp with Open Jump Ring
The rest were from my stash.
I am still torn on the pearls. Should they stay or should they go?
Here she is ladies and gentlemen - Flashes of Autumn
I used 22 ga sterling wire to attach the pendant crystal. I went thru the hole several times, each time, I added a pearl or a Swarovski bicone to create a cluster at the top.
And the earrings I made to go with them

As usual, simply gorgeous! Is the focal one of those "galaxy" beads? It's really striking with the pearls and other crystals.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, you are something else! What a cool as heck design!! Those crystals are so AWESOME and you know I am a huge fan of pairing crystals with pearls. This is a wonderful way of skewing the conservative pearl/crystal straight laced design and you can actually feel the jolt of individuality. NICE! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, dear, you have totally outdone yourself. That is just gorgeous indeed. Keep 'em coming!
